Congleton Park Events Planned for 2017

Events Calendar 2017 Congleton Park

We have several events planned for June and November, some not yet confirmed, so it is worth checking back when you can, and we expect other events to be added too.

Friends of Congleton Park Volunteer Day - Date To Be Advised

We are having a volunteer day to generally clean the park and various items of furniture and equipment, litter pick etc.

We would be extremely grateful for any help you can give to keep your park in tip top condition. We start at 10.30am, so please let us know if you can help, and for how long; if you could give us an hour that would be much appreciated, longer is even better!

If you are able to help us, please Email the Secretary with your name and time you can spare. This will help us to organise our merry band to best effect.

Brass on the Grass Live in Congleton Park June 2015

Above are the British Legion doing sterling work supporting our Armed Services past and present, and a few of the hundreds who enjoyed the sunshine and the music.

Below are the Rode Hall Silver Band, and the Salt City Jazz men; view of the people seated and enjoying the music; Friends of Congleton Park Gazebo.

Our other magnificent bands providing great entertainment on the day were the Macclesfield Silk Band, Bear Town Ukelele and No Strings Saxaphone Group. Special thanks to our Master of Ceremonies Mr David McCaddon.

Most years we are involved to a greater or lesser degree with events in the Park. Family fun days with a variety of attractions for all ages are often seen during Summer months. We also like to see local young talent encouraged, for example local bands playing their music to a live audience.

If you are local and would like to showcase your talents, please contact us by email in the first instance; we may be able to help, we may not, but will do our best.
